Choose the channel that matches how your customers buy

Google and Meta do different jobs. The right starting point depends on whether customers are already searching, whether the offer is visual, and whether tracking and creative are in place, not on which platform is trending.

Two different jobs

Google Search vs Facebook and Instagram

Neither channel is a universal winner. Each fits a different kind of buying behavior.

Google Search

Captures active intent. Best when buyers already search for this service. Requires focused landing pages and conversion tracking to work well.

Facebook and Instagram

Creates and warms demand. Best for visual offers, stories, education and retargeting. Requires strong creative and frequent testing to stay effective.

How Google Ads actually works

Ads placement depends on approval, not intent alone

Google can place approved ads for eligible searches once your campaign, budget and policy approval are active. None of that is guaranteed or instant.

Ads work best once conversion tracking and the site itself are ready to receive that traffic. We build search and social to run alongside each other only after tracking is in place, so spend on either channel is measured from day one rather than guessed at later.

Not sure between Google and Meta?

We validate intent, creative and tracking before recommending spend.

When to start with Google

Customers already type in what they need. There is measurable search volume and a clear commercial intent behind it.

When to start with Meta

Few people search for this yet, but the offer is visual and you can produce fresh creative regularly to introduce it to new audiences.

When to use both

Search demand exists and the offer is visual with creative on hand. Search captures what already exists while social builds additional demand.

When not to run ads yet

Conversion tracking is not installed, or the offer and creative are not ready. Fix the foundation before paying for traffic.
